VT202 Video Codec
VT202 is ViShare’s first generation Video Codec IC which can encode or decode 1080p video at 30fps or 720p video at 60fps. It enables the following advantages on wireless HD video transmission.
VT202 can encode or decode videos at an extremely low delay. The end-to-end latency of wirelessly sending 1080p and 720p videos via a pair of transmitter and receiver empowered by VT202 chips is only 30ms and 16ms respectively.
Since VT202 enables low bandwidth wireless HD transmission, it has bigger advantage on longer range transmission because WiFi signal drops as distance increases. Moreover, the low bandwidth requirement gives it a flexibility to use a variety of HomePlug in the market to further extend the transmission distance.

Reliable video transmission
By employing VT202, the bandwidth required for wirelessly sending full HD videos is only 10~20Mbps. The low bandwidth requirement enables more stable wireless HD transmission in home and office environment. Moreover, VT202 adopts a bandwidth adaptive technology which can dynamically adjust the data rate with graceful degradation of picture quality when the network bandwidth is low or unstable, avoiding jittering or drop frames and thus giving the user a stable and smooth viewing experience.
