H.264/H.265 Algorithm Engineer
Job Descriptions:
- Port the standard H.265 algorithm to an embedded platform.
- Modify the algorithm to optimize compression efficiency while reducing hardware complexity.
- Help the hardware team to identify performance bottleneck and define hardware accelerator.
- Build a C model for hardware verification.
- Develop a video quality benchmark software.
- Profile the encode/decode workload with different test data.
Requirements:
- BS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science (Ph.D. or MS degree preferred) or equivalent years of experience.
- Good knowledge of video compression concepts and standards, including H.264 and HEVC.
- Proficiency in C/C++, strong software development, optimization, and debugging skills.
- Proficiency in assembly language for performance optimization.
- Proactive and self-motivated with excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
- Experience with FFmpeg, x264, x265 is a plus.
- Knowledge in Linux Makefile editing is a plus.
- Candidates with less experience may also be considered.

Embedded Software Engineer
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop software for wireless video-streaming products.
- Optimize wireless communication protocol.
- Work closely with hardware team to debug hardware and software.
- Define software API to support 3rd party development.
- Support customers to fix bugs.
- Develop and maintain iOS/Android apps.
Requirements:
- Degree in Computer Science, Computer/Electronic Engineering or higher.
- 5+ years of software design experience.
- Proficiency in C/C++ language.
- Experience in mobile apps development is a plus.
- Proficiency in Makefile editing is a plus.
- Experience of multi-threaded programming and real-time programming is preferable.
- Experience on Linux kernel driver development is a plus.
- Good analytical and interpersonal skills.
- Working location based in HK; Occasional traveling to Shenzhen may be required.
- Candidates with less experience may also be considered.

IC Design ASIC Engineer
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform logic design, RTL coding, design verification, logic synthesis, DFT and static timing analysis.
- Carry out module-level or top-level functional verification using software and FPGA prototype board.
- Interface with back-end ASIC design team for physical implementation.
- Prepare technical documents.
Requirements:
- Bachelor or above in Electronic Engineering or equivalent. Higher degree would be considered as an advantage.
- Knowledge of programming FPGA to verify IC design.
- Knowledge of using Design Compiler is preferable.
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Perl, TCL and Makefile is preferable.
- Hands-on experience in Verilog-based logic design and synthesis is preferable.
- Team player and strong communication/documentation skills.
- Fresh graduate will also be considered.
